Pyramids have stood out against the backdrop of the desert for thousands of years, monuments to the dead pharaohs buried beneath them. The one that has stood out in the Mojave Desert since 1993 is anything but dead inside.
The Luxor, the world's third-largest hotel, is a bustling city unto itself. It has more than 4,400 rooms and a casino with more than 2,000 machines and tables to play. It has four pools, a spa and dozens of shops for relaxation. It features the minus5 Ice Bar and eight other lounges/clubs including LAX for a different type of recreation. The entertainment is provided by the acclaimed shows of Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil, Carrot Top and the lovely ladies of the Fantasy topless revue.
Inside this pyramid, things are as lively as the come.
