Budget night

Of course, the easiest way to stretch your budget in Vegas is to increase it with gambling winnings. Failing that, you can have a fabulous day without going broke.
Start your day off with the free donuts slot players get at the MGM Mirage. Even if you're losing, slots are a cheap way to wile away some hours while still being entertained.
Then head to the free Nevada State Museum and grab a burger at In-N-Out, just as mouthwatering as a big, juicy steak at a fraction of the cost. Just across the street from the Mirage is the Casino Royale, which has $1 Michelob bottles and frozen margaritas, craps tables for as low as $3 per bet and $5 blackjack tables.
Stay slightly off the Strip downtown and save a bundle while not giving it all back on a long taxi ride.
