Primm city is a small community located on interstate 15 in the county of Clark, in the Las Vegas metro area, at the border of Nevada and California. This city is also known as the Primm Valley. The city of Primm is an unincorporated area.Geographically, Primm is located at 35º 36’ 46” North and 115º 23’ 25” west. Primm city is 40 miles south of Las Vegas. The total population of Primm was 466 as of the 2000 census; still this city is not a census designated place.Previously the city of Primm was known by the informal name of Stateline. In 1990s, to avoid this confusion the city was renamed to Primm by Ernest Jay Primm. In 1997 the city was a host to the world’s strongest man competition. It has also hosted the 2008 Darpa grand challenge.
