Nevada is one of the most unspoiled mountainous states in America having a wealth of destinations. Some enjoy the natural environment of the state, while others enjoy the manmade splendor and glitz of Las Vegas here. Because of its culture and geography, Nevada tourism centers on many activities held year round. The best times of the year to visit Nevada are April and December. Nevada is a deserted state having empty plains, deserts and mountains. Some visit Nevada for traveling and riding on many of its scenic byways, which make the state traveling an absolute delight. The winter season are cold and mid seasons like spring and fall are warm in the day and chilly at nights. The precise season depends on what one wants and values in his visit to Nevada. The main places of interest are Las Vegas, Carson City and Reno as well as Lake Tahoe. Las Vegas is mostly visited for its glamour, lights and entertainment, with March to May and October being the perfect time to visit. To avoid crowds and massive heat, many can visit Las Vegas in summer season or post October. The best time to visit Carson City is the summer season. If visiting Reno, which is great all year round.
