The Chester city offers a year-round programme of arts and entertainment including festivals, street events, exhibitions, performing arts, community projects and public art. The Chester Cathedral is a place of worship for over 1000 years. It reflects a Gothic architectural style. One can also see the finest quire stalls, intricately carved misericords, and the famous cobweb picture.
The St. Mary’s Centre is Chester’s seventh medieval parish churches, in which we see the painted tombs of wealthy local families.
The Chester-le-street District Council is within the County of Durham. It consists at present of the Regional Spatial Strategy, Winter Carnival Samba Dance, which includes the thrill of Brazilian music, dancing, capoeira demonstration and more.
