Canterbury Shaker Village is regarded as a national historic landmark and has a museum along with 24 restored and four reconstructed buildings. There is also 694 acre of gardens, forests, ponds and fields. The village offers tours and workshops for tourists who come and visit this village. These tours are also to the museum store which is open on Saturdays and Sundays. There is also a restaurant which are open on Fridays and Saturdays.
