The city of Derry consists of many entertainment venues, some of them are Guildhall square, Millennium Forum, and Nerve Centre. All these venues offer year-round programmes of art and entertainment including festivals, street events, exhibitions, performing arts, community projects and public art.
The Mussenden Temple which has a domed outline is a cliff-top landmark and is one of the most photographed monuments in Derry.
War Memorial with bronze statues and the Portland stone stand 40ft high and 27ft wide. The memorial is built in the memory of those who fought and lost their lives during I World War.
Alexander Ferguson M.P is beautiful and peaceful parkland set amidst the heart of the city with the statue of Sir Alexander Ferguson MP. Saint Joseph’s Monastary is the inspiration for many religious groups, religious retreats and vigils which are held here often and public participation is encouraged.
