Hampton lies besides Atlantic Ocean. It’s a home to ‘Hampton Beach State Park’ at ‘Hampton Beach’, the most sought-after destination in summers. If one sees from the perspective of roadways, it can be stated that Hampton lies along intersection of NH 27 and US 1.
As per US Census Bureau, Hampton’s total area consists of 38 sq. Km; out of which 3.9 sq. Km consists of water. This city is being drained by Drakes and Hampton rivers. It stands completely within ‘New Hampshire Coastal watershed’. Bride Hill; whose elevation is 150 feet from the sea level is Hampton’s highest point.
According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Hampton was reported to be 14937. Its density had been 442.6 per sq. Km. Per capita income was found to be $29878. Around 5.9%25 of total population was found to be below poverty line.
