Spread over an area of 128 acres, The Ahern State Park shares 3,500 feet of Lake Winnisquam’s shoreline. In November 1994 was passed to the state and was renamed in 1998. Earlier the park was known as the Governor's State Park. The park offers many activities to the visitor which includes non-motorized boating, hiking, fishing and biking.
