The Hobo Railroad is in the heart of the White Mountains and is near to the White Mountain National Forest and the Loon Mountain Ski Area. This railroad has two heritage railroads in central New Hampshire. One railroad is in Lincoln which offers its passengers with a trip through the White Mountains. The other railroad is based in Meredith, which offers its passengers with trips in the Lakes Region. The construction of the railroads in New Hampshire began in 1846. The line from Plymouth to Lincoln was constructed by the name, Pemigewasset Valley Railroad in 1874. Its construction began in 1882 and the line got opened in 1883.

| Had a super fun time on this train! The playground is great for the kids and is FREE! The train ride was reasonably priced and the hobo lunch was good too. Depending on the day you go they have a clown or balloonist Would recomend this attraction! |
