Currier Museum of Art
Currier Museum of Art can be described as one of the internationally renowned art museums which goes on to feature American and European paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, and photographs. Permanent collection is inclusive of works by Matisse, Picasso, Calder, Frank Lloyd Wright, Andrew Wyeth, John Singer Sargent, and Scheier and Goldsmith, O’Keeffe, and Monet. Public programs are inclusive of ‘Family Days’, classical music (live); in which people from all age groups can participate.
This museum had been founded in the year 1929.
Timings
Currier Museum of Art remains open from 1100 to 1700 hrs on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Saturdays, it remains open between 1000 and 1700 hrs. Free admission can be obtained between 1000 and 1200 hrs. It should be noted that Currier Museum of Art remains open on the 1dt Thursday of every month between 1100 and 2000 hrs.
