Meredith lies on the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee. It’s a home to ‘Stonedam Island’ Natural Area as well as Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad. One would be glad to know that Meredith is site of yearly ‘Great Rotary Fishing Derby’.

Km. median income with regards to every household was reported to be $42758; whereas that with regards to a family was reported to be $54764. Per capita income was found to be $24867. Around 6.6%25 of total population was below poverty line; inclusive of 9%25 of the ones under 18 years of age; and 9.9%25 of the ones beyond 65 years of age.
