The Isles of Shoals is nine rocky isles which is six miles off the New Hampshire and Maine coast. This is a haven for the occasional pirates, a summer retreat for artists and has been the Unitarian conference center of attractions for more than 100 years. There are many excursion boat companies which cruise to the Shoals. Since the Shoals are privately owned, stopovers are not often included in cruises and are limited.
