The Tilton historical museum is situated inside the 1875 Inn at Tilton. This was built in between 1875 – 1879. This building initially was a house to the F J Moulton Photography Studio, Couch Meat Company and the Batchelder. This museum was refurbished by Joanna Oliver in 2002. Kimberley Connors a professional archeologist had initiated the excavation of the cellar area below the inn in 2003.
