The town rises about 512 ft above sea level.Wolfeboro is drained by the Smith River, the outlet of Lake Wentworth and an inlet of Lake Winnipesauke. The highest point in town is Moody Mountain, at an elevation of 1,420 feet above sea level, located near the northern boundary.
