The beautiful town of Wolfeboro is located in Carroll County, New Hampshire, USA. The community is home to the Wentworth state park.According to the 2000 census, the population of this town was 6,083 with a population density of 125.9 per square mile. As of the census about 2,574 households and 1,722 families reside in the town. The majority of the town population belong to the White origin about 99.13%25 and a small percentage of other races. The per capita income for the city was $26,361.Geographically the town is located at 43 35’03” north and 7112’46” west. The town has a total area of 58.5 square miles, of which 48.3 sq miles is land and 10.2 sq miles is water. The town rises about 512 ft above sea level.Wolfeboro is drained by the Smith River, the outlet of Lake Wentworth and an inlet of Lake Winnipesauke. The highest point in town is Moody Mountain, at an elevation of 1,420 feet above sea level, located near the northern boundary.
