The Absecon Golf Course received the best golf course award by the Golfers Union of America in the year 2007. The golf fields of the course are very well maintained and many golfers come down from neighboring cities during weekends to play golf in the Absecon Golf Course. Every year a golf tournament is organized in the park and golfers from across the whole world are invited for the competition.
