Basking Ridge is situated in Bernard’s Township in the Somerset County region in New Jersey. The township covers a total area of 21.66 sq miles out of which 21.63 sq miles is made of land and the rest is water. It is not an independent municipality and as per the 2000 census, the region had a population count of 24,600 inhabitants. A maximum portion of the population is made up of Caucasians and the median age of the population is around 37.13 years.
