Volunteers promote interest in the rich history of Bloomfield and seek to preserve the remnants of that history. There are several Historical Museums with its displays and showcase the history of the region. There are numerous things to see and do in Bloomfield such as attend the Mars Hill Church, watch the Historical Museum Complex, visit the Davis County Courthouse, walk on the Mormon Trail, and visit the Troy Academy and more. Bloomfield has its Fest of amusements, Ethics, Puppet shows. There is the Farmer’s Market from May to September, the Lake Fisher Bass Tournament in May, the Davis County Fair in July, the Old Time Music Festival in September and others.
It has National Parks and Federal Recreational lands. Great sports activities are leagues, tournaments, marathons & playoffs around Bloomfield. Special interests in Swan Lake, scout out the most stimulating, cultural activities. The city has the best places for bird watching and a local wildlife sanctuary to discover a wild new side of Bloomfield.
