Bridgewater Township is a township which is located in Somerset County in New Jersey. Originally, this township was created in 1749 and was incorporated as one of the 104 original townships of New Jersey’s in 1798.
As per the United States Census of 2000, the township had a population of 42, 940 people. However, it has had an increase in population growth with 4.37 percent as compared to 2009 population of 44,408 people.
