Brigantine is an island in Atlantic County in New Jersey in USA. It is situated on the Brigantine Beach Island. Brigantine was incorporated as a city on 16th March 1924. The region covers a total area of 9.8 square miles out of which 3.4 square miles is water and 6.4 square miles is land. The island had a population of 12,739 inhabitants as per the 2007 census of which 83.15%25 were Whites. The cost of living is slightly high here. Brigantine has 207 sunny days on an average with July being the warmest month and January the lowest. The region gets 39 inches of rainfall annually and snowfall of 10 inches. There are a number of schools and colleges here such as the Brigantine Public School, Brigantine North Middle School and the Brigantine Elementary School.
