Main festivals which took place recently at the Maysville were the chocolate festival, the honey festival; pig out on market barbecue festival and the transparent pie and folk life event. Maysville has the Mason County Museum, the National Underground Railroad Museum and the Duncan Tavern Historic Shrine to visit. Maysville-Mason County Recreation Park is a must visit which is situated on the outskirts of pioneer village of Old Washington, which is spread over a 57-acre. The park has an Olympic-size pool, also a par-three golf course, putt-putt golf, three tennis courts, two softball fields and several playgrounds.
Maysville River Park Marina is situated on the east end of Maysville. The park has facility for camping and boating. The electric hook-up and water is situated at each of the 43 camping sites. The park is available from the 1st of April to 31st October. The site has very good management and help is available all 24hours and seven days a week.
