East Brunswick is a township which is situated in Middlesex County in New Jersey. The township is located on the southern shores of the Raritan River. The town lies on Exit 9 of the New Jersey Turnpike. It was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1860. This town is located 35 miles southwest of New York City.

As per the United States 2000 census, the township had a population of around 46,756. Based on the results of the census, New Jersey’s center of population is located on Milltown Road in East of Brunswick.  According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 58.0 kilometers of which 56.9 is dry land and 1.1 kilometers is water.

The warmest month is July with 85.40 degrees Fahrenheit and coldest month is January with 21.10 degrees Fahrenheit. During the summer the temperature is 21 degrees Fahrenheit and fairly limited with an average difference of 18 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter.
