There is the Lawrence Brook which is a tributary of the Raritan River which runs through the township. There are over 50 acres of parkland and such open spaces which provide an array of recreational opportunities for all. The Division of Parks maintain around 12 developed and 3 undeveloped parks having extensive facilities for basketball, tennis, soccer, roller skating, baseball and hangball, which is a local sport.

The Tower Center complex is a two 23 story office towers with a 15 storey of Hilton hotel located at the intersection of the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 18. These 2 towers are the tallest structures in Central Jersey and can be seen for several miles up and down the Turnpike.

Most of the Weird NJ destinations are in East Brunswick and includes the Mary Murray and Port Street near Helmetta. There is a golf course like the Tamarack and the Giarmese Farm and Lake View Day Camp which are entertaining and exciting.
