Freehold Borough can be referred to as a borough located in county of Monmouth, New Jersey, US. It’s also county seat with respect to Monmouth County.
The present-day Freehold Borough had originally been incorporated in the form of a town in the year 1869 by an ‘Act of New Jersey Legislature’ on 25th of March; from parts within ‘Freehold Township. In the year 1888, it became independent with respect to township. Extra portions relating to Freehold Township got annexed in on 7th of September, 1926.
