John Abbott II House is located in Veterans Park. This is a elegant historic still standing house which has many secrets like patriot funds which were hidden from the British as they were coming on Trenton in 1776. At that time, Abbott was a bachelor and he died in 1795 aged 87 years old. This house was built by his father and the house was situated on the north side of Crosswicks Creek.
