Liberty Science Center is a science museum started in 1993, and displays various science exhibitions, educational resources, computer driven engineering artwork, the world's largest IMAX dome theater, the original Hoberman sphere and more.

The ferries also stop at Ellis Island where one can take a tour of the island's immigration museum, which gives information about the stories of various immigrants from around the world who came to America.
