Island Beach State Park
Island Beach State Park is a park located to the south of Seaside Park on the Barnegat Peninsula in Berkeley Township, Ocean County. Maintenance of the park is done New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry encompassing the former borough of Island Beach. Fishing, kayaking, and swimming are permitted in some parts of the park.
Cape May Light
The lighthouse is located in New Jersey at the tip of Cape May, in Cape May Point State Park, located in the town of Cape May Point. Built in 1859 this lighthouse got automated in 1946 and is operational till date. Tourists can get a scenic view of the area from Cape May City and Wildwood to the north by climbing 199 steps to the top of the light house.
