New Brunswick is also called as the healthcare city or Hub city. It is a city and a county seat of Middlesex County in New Jersey. It is approximately 31 miles to the southwest of New York City. It was formed by Royal Charter in 1730 and was incorporated as a city in 1784.This city was originally inhabited by the Lenape Native Americans in 1681.
New Brunswick is noted for its rich ethnic heritage. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.8 square miles and 0.5 square miles of water.

At one time, one quarter of the population of Hungary resided in the city. As per the 2006 United States Census Bureau, the population of the city was 50,172. As of 2009, the city population is 50,534 people. So, compared to 2000 census, it has had a growth of 3.29 percent.
