The New Jersey Performing Arts Center is a must see arts place in Newark. Further, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra is one of the features of the Art center. One can also visit the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the baseball stadium named Riverfront Stadium. There is the Newark Public Library which will be renovated and expanded soon.

Then there is the Lincoln Park which is in the neighborhood and which is the second district of Newark to undergo a complete large scale redevelopment.  One can visit the Newark Museum, the public library; the Cass Gilbert designed Essex County courthouse and the tallest building, the National Newark Building. There is the Branch Brook Park which is the largest gothic cathedral in United States.

The Newark Museum is also the largest museum in New Jersey. This museum has a first class American Art collection and has Tibetan collection too which is considered one of the best in the world.
