Tourist Guide Seaside Heights

Seaside Heights is a Borough in Ocean County in New Jersey. This borough is situated on the Barnegat Peninsula which is a long narrow barrier peninsula separating Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. Seaside Heights was incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1913.

As per the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 3,155, out of which 1,408 were households and 691 were families residing in the borough. The United States Census Bureau presents that the borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles of which there is 0.6 square miles of land and 0.2 square miles of water.

New Jersey rock band Bon Jovi filmed most of their music video for the song “In and Out of Love” in this borough, and that too on the boardwalk. The annual average precipitation is 48.81 inches with rainfall distributed fairly throughout the year. The temperature during the summer season is 22 and during the winter season it is 19 degrees Fahrenheit.
