The city of Weehawken is situated in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. It got incorporated in the year 1859. The township has a population of 13,501 as per the United States 2000 Census.  It has a total area of 1.5 square miles out of which 0.9 square miles is land and 0.7 square miles is water. It is situated on the western shore of the Lincoln Tunnel.The minimum temperature of the city in winter is 26 degrees and the highest temperature in summer is 84 degrees. It enjoys an average of 219 sunny days in a year.The density of the population is 15,891.3 people per square mile. The average house hold size is 2.26 and family size is 3.02. Weehawken is famous for Creative arts contributing the highest quality of arts and cultural education to their community and visitors. Many good museums exist in this city which includes the famous Intrepid Sea Air Museum and the Chelsea Art Museum.
