Most people fly in via The Albuquerque Sunport, which is the largest and most accessible airport in New Mexico. It’s about a 50 minutes drive to Santa Fe. An extensive rental car facility also accommodates the Sunport. Santa Fe’s Train Station has always been in the historic town of Lamy. Along a 3631 km route through the Midwestern and Southwestern United States, The Southwest Chief, a passenger train is operated. It runs from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California, passing through Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
