Taos is a small city in Taos County in New Mexico. Also known as ‘Town of Taos’, it houses a small population of about 5,000 permanent residents. Interestingly, the city takes its name from Taos Pueblo, an ancient tribe. The region is a blend of different communities and provides the visitors a varied and enchanting experience.
The climate in this region varies from moderate to extreme with all the four seasons. The weather could be sunny one moment and then turn chilly and wet in the other. Overall, it is one of the sunny cities of the county.
The long history of the town dates back to 1540, when the Spanish conquered the region, Taos is now a region overflowing with different cultures, and its economy consists of agriculture, tourism and construction.
