The 1st Friday has expanded to present mid-day exhibitions in Downtown Albany. It is an entirely free event dedicated to promotion of art in the community in the capital city. 1st Friday has become a popular outing drawing more than 1,000 art lovers from in and outside the Capital Region.
Each first Friday of the month, the city’s premier art institutions and galleries from uptown to downtown with center square in between open their doors for the public, showcasing current exhibitions and collections.
