Managed by the Nassau County the Tackapausha Museum and Preserve lies north of Amityville. The museum is home to various displays of the wildlife which exists on Long Island. The displays depict the various subjects with a special presentation. There are also a big preserve which offer some of the most splendid walks around the museum.
