Aquebogue is a census designated place and a hamlet situated in Suffolk County in New York in USA. It is also a part of Long Island’s North Fork wine region and has numerous vineyards in the region. The CDP covers a total area of 4.5 square miles of which 3.8 sq miles is made of land and the rest is water. As per the census taken in 2000, the CDP had a population of 2,254 inhabitants, most of who were Whites. Thus the population density of the region is 587.29 people per square mile.
