Gilgo Beach is a perfect destination for those who want to spend some time in seclusion but obviously a good playground for kids. One comes across the Gilgo Inn where one can have some lip smacking snacks after stretching the whole day on the beach. There is also a church, a self service library and post office which is unmanned. It is one of the destinations that cannot be missed out.
