The Brooklyn Museum of Art is located in Central Brooklyn. This museum was opened in 1897 and it has been one of the highlights of the city’s cultural map. This is the second largest art museum in New York City, and one of the largest in the United States.The Museum houses a prestigious collection of work from ancient Egyptian masterpieces to contemporary art covering almost every culture. The exhibits are located in a building designed by the architect Stanford White.
