This is a 52 acre garden situated near the neighborhood of Park Slope, Crown Heights and Prospect Heights. The garden was founded in 1910 and includes more than ten thousand varieties of plants. The specialty gardens here include the Shakespeare Garden, the Cranford Rose Garden, the Alice Recknagel Ireys Fragrance Garden, Japanese Hill and Pond Garden, the Children’s Garden and more. There is a cherry tree boulevard with over 200 cherry trees planted, a bonsai tree collection, a discovery exhibition, rock garden, several conservatories and more.
