The Buffalo Zoo was founded in the year 1875, and is the third oldest zoo in United States. It has almost 400,000 visitors each year who come to Buffalo to visit this amazing zoo. It is spread on 23.5 acres of park and has a diverse collection of wild and exotic animals. There are over 320 different species of plants found here at the zoo. What more one can ask for? The zoo is open year round and serves as a good source of conservation, recreation and education for western New York. The zoo underwent with certain renovations till date. There are many exhibitions which are held at the zoo premises.
