Located in the County of Erie which is present in the New York State of USA, Depew is a village which is an important part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls Area. The name of this city originated from Chauncey Mitchell Depew who was the president of the railroads here. It is basically situated between the towns of Lancaster and Cheektowaga. It is connected to the other towns through the Transit Road. This town is measured to have a total land of 13.1 square kilometres. This space is large if considered from the village point of view. The census that took place here recently showed that this place has a population of 16,629 people. The city excels in terms of educational institutes as there are some well known elementary schools which are considered important. This village has developed greatly in the past years and is now being known as the "The Village of Unexcelled Opportunity". The winds can get chilly during the winters especially in the month of January.
