Flushing, a beautiful city is settled in the Genesee County in the state of Michigan. It is located within the Flushing Charter Township and has self-governing administration. It is bordered by the Flint River on the southern side. The census measure done in the year 2000 had discovered that the total population here was 8,348. Thus it is a scarcely populated region in Michigan. Flushing is regarded to be the suburban area of Flint. The Census Bureau of United States has measured that the city has a total area of 4.3 square miles out of which, 4.2 square miles is covered by land and simply 0.1 square miles is under water. The educational facilities are good which is clear from the fact that the city has a high school along with four middle schools. The Roman Catholic Church is the only unionized religion here as seen until the mid of 20th century. Detroit's St. Anne's parish is another oldest Catholic jurisdiction here. The town has a humid continental climate with an average temperature of around 20 degrees during the year. The economy here is strictly dependent on information technology, biosciences and advanced manufacturing practices.
