Ithaca town is located on the Southern shore of the Cayuga Lake at the center of the Ithaca-Tompkins County. The town is a horseshoe shaped portion of the Metropolitan area, it perhaps deserves to be even better known for its natural beauty. High temperature is around 81 degrees in the summer and during winter the average low temperature is 15 degrees. Humidity during summer is 56 inches.
