The Paleontological Research Institution (PRI) is located in the city of Ithaca. The Paleontological Research Institution is a natural history museum. The PRI was founded in 1932 by Gilbert Harris. The PRI’s main concentration is around education and research. The PRI has one of the 8th largest American collections of fossils and Recent Shells, and a collection of more than two million specimens of invertebrates, tiny shells of single celled organisms to dinosaur bones and woolly mammoth teeth.
