The Buttermilk Falls State Park is located in the southwest of Ithaca city. This park has nine waterfalls, in which the Buttermilk Falls is the main attractive water fall in the city. The Buttermilk Falls State park includes beach, hiking, fishing, playground, pavilions, hunting, nature trail and recreation programs. It is the coolest picnic place for both children and families and lots of people visit the park. It is one of the most attractive parks in Ithaca.
