In Lake Placid, one can find some exceptional best alphine skiing and snowboarding in North America. It has the greatest vertical drop and is the only ski area in the East to host the Olympic Winter Games. There are lessons on skiing techniques for the beginners, enthusiastic about the challenge. There are ski groups where one can request for ski group reservation prior to coming to Lake Placid.
