Tourist Guide Maspeth
Situated geographically in the borough of Queens which is present in New York City of USA, Maspeth is a small community famous for the Queen culture that was once established by the Dutch and English. The name of this settlement is derived from the 'Mespeatches Indians' that once gained superiority here. It is well connected to the neighbouring cities of Long Island City, East Williamsburg and also Fresh Pond. According to a survey, this town was recorded to have a total land area of 17.2 square kilometres. The city is fed by the Maspeth Creek which is a large source of fresh water. The census that took place here recently showed that this place has a population of 13,254 people. Majority of the people here are self employed as shop keepers and have developed this city into a good market place. The climate here is calm and enjoyable. The winters are a bit harsh as high winds blow from the oceanic side.
