LaGuardia Airport is situated on the waterfront of Flushing Bay in the borough of Queens and is popular because of its central location and proximity to Manhattan city.
The airport handled passenger traffic of 25.3 million in 2007 and has been voted the ‘Greatest airport in the world’, by the worldwide aviation community.
The airport is small compared to the three other commercial airports of New York but is one of the busiest airports in the United States.
