Reviews Empire State Building
Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is an amazing 102 story landmark Art Deco skyscraper situated in New York City. The name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. For over forty years, this building stood as the tallest building in the world. Completed in 1931, the building became the tallest building again after the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001. The site has also been featured in many of the Hollywood films. One such famous film was the classic King Kong in 1933. Designed in Art Deco style, the building was designated as National Historic Landmark in 1986. This building is owned and entirely managed by W & H Properties.
Never at the top!
My biggest regret about my vacation in NYC was that I never went up to the top of the Empire State Building, but I had no time. Well, I'll have to go there again to do that...and that is a great deal!
