Battery Park is also known as the Battery and is situated in New York. This 25 acre public park is situated at the southern tip of Manhattan Island facing the New York Harbor.
This park because of its prime location has played a significant role in the transportation infrastructure construction. This 25 acre park has 75,000 square feet of native plants, gardens and a special grove of 140 plane trees which are known as the Bosque.
The Castle Clinton stands amidst the park, and it is the major landmark of Battery. Statue Cruises leave from Battery Park too.
